SEBASTIAN'S BIOGRAPHY
Here is the story of a child who had the courage to pursue his dreams, following in the footsteps of his idol Michael Schumacher
SEBASTIAN'S STORY

Sebastian Vettel's story begins on July 3, 1987 in Heppeheim. He is the son of Norbert and Heike Vettel. He has two older sisters, Melanie and Stefanie, and a younger brother named Fabian.
His passion began from a young age, when his father Norbert bought a kart to let Seb and his sisters play. To make the game more fun and difficult, Norbert used to bathe the garden with water so that the children could simulate a wet race. It was love at first sight between Sebastian and the motor world, with which he’s always been in contact thanks to his dad.
FIRST YEARS
Sebastian began competing with karts in Karpen in 1995, winning numerous titles. In 2003 he moved to single-seaters making his debut in the German Formula BMW championship. In 2005, however, he drove for the ASL Mücke Motorsport in the Formula 3 Euro Series. It was in the same year that he tested a Formula 1 car for the first time, the Williams FW27, as a prize for winning the Formula BMW the previous year.
FORMULA 1
In 2007 he took part in Formula Renault 3.5, obtaining his first victory at the Nürburgring, but then he was called to race the rest of the season in Formula 1 with the Italian team of Toro Rosso.
He remained with Toro Rosso the following year as well. In those years he impressed everyone, from veteran drivers to Formula 1’s fan. A young talent out of the ordinary, who had also amazed the seven-time world champion and his idol: Michael Schumacher. It was in 2008, under the incessant rain in Monza, that he won his first career gp. It was the first and only (to date) victory of the Italian team.
SEBASTIAN VETTEL: FOUR TIMES WORLD CHAMPION
After showing his great potential, in 2009 he was hired to race in Red Bull. These were the best years of his career, the sweetest and most excited years because they made him enter in the Formula 1 history, confirming him as one of the great ones in Motorsport. In fact Seb together with the Red Bull team, managed to graduate for four consecutive years (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) world champion. On the Yas Marina circuit, in 2010, Sebastian achieved the record of the youngest world champion in the history of Formula 1. No one else like him: he was only 23 years old and 134 days old.
FINALLY IN FERRARI
It’s only after confirming himself as world champion that Sebastian tried to make the leap to fulfill his biggest dream: to become world champion in the red Ferrari car, like Michael.
"You are not a true champion until you win with Ferrari," said Michael, and he took it literally. On November 20th in 2014, Sebastian's arrival in the Maranello team was announced. A dream for the boy with the blond helmet born in Heppeheim. The first two seasons in red (2015 and 2016) have been difficult, due to a single-seater not up to the rivals. It’s just from 2017 that Seb began to have the opportunity to fight for the world championship with his longtime rival Lewis Hamilton. Unfortunately Sebastian's dream, and thousands of Tifosi’s dream, has not yet come true; but one thing is certain: Seb will not stop fighting to try to make it happen.
